Chaw Mank's Blue Ribbon Music. Co., Staunton, Illinois, published this rare sheet music in 1943. It's titled "We Shall Meet Again" and dedicated to Mank's good friend, radio pioneer Vaughn DeLeath (1894-1943).
On the cover is gospel/country music singer Amanda Snow of legendary radio station WLS Chicago, home of the celebrated WLS National Barn Dance.
Sheets are in unused near mint/mint condition. There were probably less than 350 sheets of this title produced. Discovered in an old storage trailer and saved from an inglorious trip to the dump!
This item comes directly from the estate of Charles "Chaw" Mank Jr. (1902-1985), noted songwriter, author, bandleader, record producer, sheet music publisher, psychic, radio personality, silent movie theater organist, world champion pen pal, inveterate collector and Hollywood/music fan club pioneer.
