blue and white cake stand

Hand painted in a beautiful tactile dark blue and white design with thickly applied underglaze colour, this is a high fired earthenware piece. The colour is thickly applied an you can feel the texture under the glaze. The stand has blue colour banding and the same white raised dots applied.
It stands 9.5 cm high and measures 31cm across - so plenty big enough for a lovelly cake or a multitude of fondant fancies!
I fire to high earthen ware in my home studio. I use food safe underglaze colours and lead free glaze.
I wrap in tissue before carefully packing in recycled materials to dispatch first class recorded delivery by Royal Mail.
