Hand carried back from an Acapulco Market in the 1980s where he was hand made and hand painted. He has lived in a Curio Cabinet ever since, nothing ever stored inside.
This little turtle is an adorable and practical example of Mexican Folk Art.
He has striking, colorful painting on his shell which lifts off to reveal the special storage space inside!
