Original 1945 sheet music "My Gal 'Yond the Rock-Rock-Rockies." Published by tiny Blue Ribbon Music Co., Staunton, IL. On the cover: Gene Autry (in Army Air Forces uniform), Bill Boyd and the Range Riders, Jean and Patsy Lee, Bonnie and Connie of Chicago's WLS, Judie and Julie of WLS, Cliff Japhet, Bill Johnson.
Sheet music is in unused, new condition. Discovered in an old storage trailer. Probably less than 500 sheets were produced in 1945.
This item comes directly from the estate of Charles "Chaw" Mank Jr. (1902-1985), noted songwriter, author, bandleader, record producer, sheet music publisher, psychic, radio personality, silent movie theater organist, world champion pen pal, inveterate collector and Hollywood/music fan club pioneer.
