Movie/Broadway musical star Gertrude Lawrence (1898-1952) – Tony Award winner for The King and I in 1951 – graces the cover of "The Light Ahead" (1944). Also on the cover are Elinore Stein and her Smoothies and singers Ginger and Lanny Grey of New York's WOR radio.
Published by tiny Chaw Mank's Blue Ribbon Music Company in 1944. Probably less than 500 sheets were produced.
Found in storage from the songwriter's estate.
