Lilium concolor var. pulchellum, known as Hime-Yuri, is a striking perennial plant that thrives in mountain fields. Growing to a height of 30-80 cm, it features alternate leaves measuring 3-7 cm in length and 3-6 mm in width. The plant produces vibrant scarlet or yellow (forma coridion) flowers with perianths 3-4 cm long, blooming between June and July. With a chromosomal number of 2n=24, this hardy lily species brings a splash of color to any garden.
