BAYER ASPIRIN Protect 100 mg tablets, 98 tablets
The medicine is suitable for the daily prevention of heart attacks and strokes by inhibiting the clumping of blood platelets and thus preventing the formation of blood clots.
The enteric coating of the tablet prevents direct contact between the acetylsalicylic acid and the sensitive stomach lining. The tablets therefore only dissolve in the small intestine and the stomach lining is protected.
Areas of application :
Aspirin Protect is used
as part of standard therapy for unstable angina pectoris
as part of standard therapy after acute myocardial infarction
to prevent another heart attack after the first heart attack (for re-infarction prophylaxis)
Application
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is 1 tablet daily.

Aspirin Protect is not suitable for the treatment of pain conditions.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton or packaging. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
