Gulag (1985) DVD Movie

Mickey Almon, a TV reporter and former athlete, is in Moscow covering a big sports event when the KGB arrests him. A Russian scientist tried to get him to smuggle secret information. After days of tough questioning by Bukovsky, Almon confesses to being a spy, hoping for freedom. Instead, he’s sent to a remote Gulag prison with other political prisoners. There, he meets an Englishman who teaches him how to survive. Realizing he might die from hard labor, they plan an escape to Norway together.
