A vividly colored 100% silk twill scarf from The British Museum of London. The scarf is beautifully made of high quality silk with tightly hand rolled hem. The design is of ancient coins from the primitive to the recent past. The border is a variation of the Greek key motif. The center is a primitive symbol, perhaps a rune, surrounded by a shell necklace. The color scheme is gray, red, gold and brown. It is 37 x 38 inches and has never been used.
