Calcium 500 mg is indicated for calcium deficiencies, particularly during periods of growth, pregnancy, breastfeeding and as an adjunctive treatment for osteoporosis in the elderly, post-menopausal, on corticosteroid therapy, and for immobilization when regaining mobility.
The box contains 60 chewable or suckable tablets.
Other ingredients: Pregelatinized starch, aspartame (E951), sorbitol (E420), magnesium stearate, orange flavor (orange essential oil, ethyl acetate, acetaldehyde, trans 2 hexenal, citral, alpha ionone, beta ionone, valencene, ethyl alcohol, acacia gum.)
Dosage of 500 mg Chewable Calcium
It is recommended for adults to take 2 to 3 tablets per day.
For children aged 6 to 10 years : 1 tablet per day and for children over 10 years : 2 tablets per day.
The dose should be taken at a time other than meals , as this medication may interact with certain foods and other medications (such as antibiotics from the cyclin family).
In case of overdose, symptoms may occur: nausea, vomiting, intense thirst, or constipation.
If you forget to take a dose, do not take a double dose.
