To germinate Pardancanda norissii seeds, start by filling a 6-inch deep container with a well-draining seed starting mix. Sow the seeds about 1/4 inch deep and 1-2 inches apart. Water gently but thoroughly, and then provide indirect light and a consistent temperature of around 65-75°F (18-24°C). Maintain high humidity by covering the container with a clear plastic bag or cloche. Keep the soil moist but not waterlogged. It can take 3-6 weeks for the seeds to germinate. Once seedlings emerge, remove the cover and provide bright, indirect light. Transplant them into individual pots when they have 2-3 sets of leaves, and continue to care for them as you would other tropical orchids.
