Axe Brand Universal Oil consist of active ingredients
MENTHOL 20%
EUCALYPTUS OIL 15%
METHYL SALICYLATE 15%
CAMPHOR 5%
These are mixed with ESSENTIAL OILS to produce an oil which is clear in colour and pleasant in odour. It is mild and suitable for use by both adults and children.
INDICATIONS:
Provides temporary relief of headaches, colds and blocked noses, muscular and joint pains, stomach discomforts and wind, giddiness/travel sickness and soothes itching from insect bites.
DIRECTIONS:
FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. Apply a few drops to the affected area and massage gently. For colds and stuffy nose - Apply 2-3 drops to a handkerchief or tissue paper and inhale deeply. For relief of stomach discomfort and wind - Apply the oil to the naval region and cover with a hot towel. Repeat the hot towel application whenever necessary.
WARNINGS:
Avoid use in infants under 2 years old. This product contains camphor and can cause convulsion. Do not place into the nostril of infants. Caution must be exercised if older children are treated.
PRECAUTIONS:
• Do not use during pregnancy or when breastfeeding.
Please consult your doctor or pharmacist before using if you are:
Taking warfarin. Excessive application onto the skin may increase the chances of bleeding due to absorption of methyl salicylate through the skin
• Allergic to salicylates, aspirin or any of the active ingredients
• Stop use and consult your doctor if:
Condition worsens, persists for more than 7 days or recurs within a few days • Excessive irritation and rashes of the skin develops
Breast-feeding women should avoid use around the chest area or any parts of the skin that may come
into contact with the nursing child.
Avoid excessive use on large areas of the skin, or contact with eyes, mouth or mucous membranes.
• Do not use on damaged skin or on open wounds.
STORAGE:
Store below 30°C. Shelf life - 5 years from manufacturing date. Keep out of reach of children.
