Game Plate Two Snipe Weatherby Royal Falcon Ware Wall Art England

This handsome game plate features a pair of snipe in a landscape. The image is transfer printed on bright white ironstone. The rim is trimmed in gold (see photo #4). Made by J. H. Weatherby & Sons of Hanley, England, this plate is date stamped April 1977. The entire mark reads, "Durability /Weatherby /Hanley /England /Royal /Falcon Ware /4-77". Size: 9 inches in diameter. Condition is good with no cracks, chips, knife marks or wear to the gold. There is some crazing on the back and front of the plate - this condition is reflected in the price.
