- Steel crochet hook 1 mm (US 12, UK 6 ½) for size S
- Thick sewing needle with a large eye
- for sizes L, M: Cotton yarn 100 gr/330 m (3,53 oz/361 yrds). It's a 5-ply yarn and is often also called “fine yarn”, “sport yarn”, or “baby yarn”. Here I use “Cotton gold” from Alize;
for sizes L – 15 gr;
for sizes M – 9 gr.
- for size S: Woolen or half-woolen yarn 50 gr/225 m (1.75 oz/246 yrds). It's a 4-ply yarn and is often also called “superfine yarn”, “sock yarn”, or “baby yarn”. About 3 gr.
- 2 buttons size 8 mm (1/4”)
- Scissors
