HYLO NIGHT® eye ointment improves the tear film and protects the ocular surface during the night. Since the eyes do not produce much tear fluid while you are sleeping and regular lubrication of the eyes through eye drops is impossible at night, the surface of the eye needs long-lasting protection.

HYLO NIGHT® should be dosed individually according to your symptoms and the recommendation of your ophthalmologist/pharmacist. With a strong feeling of dryness of the eyes, the ointment is usually applied 3 times a day. HYLO NIGHT® can be used in addition to moisturising eye drops by placing a small drop of ointment in the conjunctival sac once a day before bedtime. To make sure that everything goes smoothly, follow these step-by-step instructions:
Step 1: Remove the protective cap before use.
Step 2: Tilt your head back slightly and gently pull the lower eyelid away from your eye with your finger.
Step 3: With the other hand hold the tube in an upright position above the eye. Instil one strip of eye ointment into the conjunctival sac by gently squeezing the tube
Step 4: Slowly close your eyelids.
Step 5: Close the tube again carefully after use.
HYLO NIGHT® must not be used while wearing contact lenses.
HYLO NIGHT® is available as a single pack (5 g). You can use the eye ointment for 6 months after opening.
Composition:
1 g HYLO NIGHT® contains 250 I.U. retinol palmitate (vitamin A), liquid paraffin, light liquid paraffin, wool fat and white soft vaseline
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Store in a dry, dark place, out of the reach of children below 25°C / 77°F.
