Dune: Ornithopter Assault is a cancelled 3D cockpit shooter developed by Soft Brigade and slated for publication by Cryo Interactive, set in Frank Herbert's iconic science fiction universe. Development ran from 2001 until summer 2002, when Cryo's financial difficulties forced the project to be shelved just before Nintendo submission — despite the game being, by all accounts, essentially finished.
