sacai x VaporWaffle Sail Gum

Heritage favorites of the past get modern details with the sacai x Nike VaporWaffle ‘Sail Gum.’ The upper is reminiscent of both the Nike Vaporfly and the 1983 Pegasus with its backdrop in white nylon and suede and leather overlays in off-white. Personal design touches from Chitose Abe include the laces and tongues, both of which appear in duplicate with just one tongue adorned by a sacai x Nike tongue tag. A foam midsole with split detailing at the heel rides on a gum rubber outsole with classic waffle-patterned traction underfoot.
