Hascovir Control is an antiviral formulation, indicated in the fight against herpes simplex type 1 and 2 (HSV) causing infections of the skin and mucous membranes.

The preparation contains as active ingredient at a dose of 200mg of acyclovir per tablet.

Action: The Hascovir Control formulation indicated for adults suffering from infection by a Herpes Simplex virus (I and II) that causes cold sores and used in the treatment of Herpes varicella-zoster (treatment of varicella zoster).

Contraindications: Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to Aciclovir or any of the ingredients.

Do not use during pregnancy and breast-feeding - if there is such a need for this may be used only after consultation with your doctor.

If you are taking high doses of the drug, it is recommended to take a lot of fluids.

Composition: One Hascovir Control tablet contains 200mg of acyclovir.

Active Substance: Aciclovirum.

Dosage: Children and adolescents - should not be used below 18 years of age.

Adults: For the treatment of infection - 200 mg 5 times a day every 4 hours (with a night break) for 5 days.

If the infection is severe, the therapy can be extended.

In the prevention of relapse in patients with normal immunity - 200 mg 4 times a day every 6 hours (with a night interruption) or 400 mg 2 times a day every 12 hours.

In the prevention of infections in immunocompromised patients - 200 mg 4 times a day every 6 h (in patients with severely compromised immunization the dose can be increased to 400 mg).

In elderly patients treatment should start with lower doses of the drug.

For people with kidney problems, a separate dosage schedule is recommended.
