White Triangle News Publication Hudson Essex Terraplane Club 1979 Amelia Earhart

This is the official publication magazine or journal (whatever they may call it) of the "Hudson Essex Terraplane Club, Inc. which isan International organization dedicated to preserving the products of the "Hudson Motor Car Company" of Detroit where they produced vehicles for 45 years starting in 1909 up till May 1, 1954. Then "American Motors Corporation" produced them from 1955 until 1957. The Club was founded in 1959 by Meritt Marks and quickly became a world wide service organization, being incorporated under the laws of the state of Pennslyvania. The White triangle is delivered in the mail to each member free of cost, and there is a lot of information in them especially for those today who have most likely never even seen or perhaps even heard of many of these old antique cars. The News is still an interesting read for anyone who likes cars or owns one of the old Hudsons, Essex or Terraplanes. It starts off with the addresses and names of the Main Headquarters Chapter and their President, Vice President, Officers and Directors. The club is comprised of dozens of regional chapters and each their own president, officers and directors needed to run the club and to have all the members in his region participating in meets and their activities. Next is the contents page along with the magazine staff. Then for the next few pages there will be updates to anything going on in any of its different chapters or regions. Next will be a calendar of events showing primarily any meets coming up for the month. Then there is Regions in which will be listed any meetings or give out any information you need on the meetings coming up. Then there is a very informative article and a special feature hudson article. After the feature article one will find hudsonnotes, club store, classifieds and list of membership benefits near back cover. This will be excellent in any collection of any size, great as a gift to that special Hudson owner you know or for your own use and enjoyment.
