Redline 1969 Nova 427 Yenko Lethal Weapon, 1994 Cars & Parts Print Article

This is a Very Good Used Condition Print Magazine Article or Clipping from the year of 1994. Originally published in Cars& Parts Magazine which was published here in the USA by Amos Press,Inc. The five pages are printed on both sides for 10 pages total with six of them devoted to the article. It is from the regular Monthly Magazine Column "Redline" and titled "Lethal Weapon 1969 Nova 427 Yenko" written by Randy The Nov who was also the photographer responsible for all the detailed photos of this rare high performance Nova car, he was assisted by Kim New on them. Most of the photos are in full color and they really bring out the non-fiction story of a great American Classic car. The Nova was the rarest and lesser known of the Yenko built cars. To anyone interested in fast high performance cars Don Yenko was to Chevy what Carroll Shelby was to Ford. His name however was more synonymous with tweaked out Corvairs, Camaros and Chevelles than it was the Chevy Nova. He was a franchised dealer from Pennsylvania who started the Yenko Sports Car program in the mid 60's as an offshoot of his racing background. Starting with 100 models of the 1966 Corvair Corsas he modified, converted and fine tuned them for a singular purpose to increase their performance from acceleration to handling.
