Original Gurkha Kukri knife -Tin Chirra blade (3 compartments) the Khukuri knife
This is one of the best handmade Gurkha Blade products. This khukuri has three chirras (fullers) on its blade, so this Khukuri name is pewter (three) Chirra (3 fullers). The scabbard is covered with water buffalo leather and the handle is in rosewood. The blade is made of high grade steel sheet which is strong and semi-polished. The blade measures 12 inches while the handle is 5 inches. The handle is made of very resistant rosewood. The handle is full flat. Unlike other handles (not rattan tail), the handle and blade are one piece and visible around the handle (see photo). Two strong rosewood pieces (attached) on the metal part of the handle with metal rivets and lanyard hole on the handle. This blade can be used to chop wood or bone bushes. The blade is made of highly graduated carbon with balanced temperament on the edge of the blade, so it is very strong. The wooden stand can be purchased with additional costs. Two small knives Chakmak (one blunt) and Karda (sharp) are free with this knife. Blunt can be used to make the Kukri blade sharp and sharp for small types of work.
