• For a pair of chopsticks printed with a Japanese Women:
• Name of artist: Utamaro Kitagawa (Died in 1806)
• Utamaro Kitagawa, who is often described as the leading expert of the Ukiyoe Bijinga (Creating beautiful lady by a woodblock color print), is an Ukiyoe artist during the Edo Era.
• He expressed many things such as liveliness, movements, and many kinds of facial looks and forms of women.
• Utamaro's art is enjoyed not only by people in the Edo Era but by modern people, too. His art is as famous as Shagaku and Hokusai, two popular Ukiyoe artists, in the world today.
