In 2012, Armani launched Acqua Di Gio Essenza. The new fragrance is timeless and an intense interpretation of the original. Described as intensely carnal and sensual, Acqua Di Gio Essenza is more focused on marine, woody and amber notes. The creator of the perfume is again Alberto Morillas.

Giorgio Armani is an Italian fashion designer known for his menswear. Armani began his career as a window designer in a department store and worked his way up to menswear buyer. From 1960 to 1972, he worked as a designer for Nino Cerutti and then as an independent designer for a number of fashion houses before founding his own label.
