Linen hanky embroidered appliqued green roses vintage ll1654

A vintage embroidered and appliqued linen hanky. One quarter of the hanky is dominated by two appliqued green roses and leaves connected by very fine rope stitch and satin stitched embroidery. That corner is scalloped and edged with green embroidery. The other 3 corners each have an embroidered squiggle of green with yellow dots.

This is very pretty and I don't think it has ever been used. It is 14 inches square. I think it is hand worked--it's a bit like Marghab. No problems at all.
