Herbal medicine for the treatment of acute uncomplicated sinusitis in adults with symptoms such as runny nose, nasal congestion, headache, facial pain or pressure.
With Gentiana lutea et Primula veris et Rumex et Sambucus nigra et Verbena officinalis.
Sinupret intens should not be used if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substance or any of the excipients of this medicine
Recommended dose:
adults should take 1 coated tablet 3 times a day (maximum 3 coated tablets per day).
There are insufficient data to support dose adjustment recommendations in patients with renal or hepatic impairment.
Use in children and adolescents
Use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age is not recommended due to a lack of sufficient data.
Method of use
The Sinupret intens coated tablet is swallowed with a liquid (e.g. a glass of water) and without chewing, 3 times a day (morning, noon and evening). If your stomach is sensitive, it is better to take Sinupret intens coated tablets after a meal.
Duration of treatment
Unless otherwise indicated, the duration of treatment is 7-14 days. If your condition has not improved during this time or the symptoms persist even later, consult a doctor.
Composition of Sinupret intens
The active substance is a natural dry extract (3-6:1) of gentian roots (Gentiana lutea), primrose flowers (Primula veris L.), sorrel grass (Rumex crispus L.), black elderberry flowers (Sambucus nigra L.), verbena herbs (Verbena officinalis L.) (1:3:3:3:3).
First extraction solvent: 51% (w/w) ethanol. Each coated tablet contains 160 mg of natural dry extract.
Excipients are sucrose, talc, calcium carbonate (E 170), microcrystalline cellulose, maltodextrin, cellulose powder, hypromellose, dextrin, spray-dried gum arabic, colloidal hydrophobic silicon dioxide, anhydrous hydrophobic silicon dioxide, titanium dioxide (E 171), liquid glucose, magnesium stearate (vegetable), stearic acid, chlorophyll powder 25% (contains copper chlorophyllin E 141), indigo carmine aluminum lacquer (contains indigo carmine E 132 and aluminum hydroxide), carnauba wax, riboflavin (E 101).
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Store in a dry, dark place, out of the reach of children below 25°C / 77°F.
