The blade had about 520 genuine blade layers and was hardened to an HRC of 58 to 60. It is built of alloy steel 1095/15n20. This sword has a sharpness that is conventional and is very attractive. The handle has a typical Viking-style Damascus steel pommel and guard. This sword comes with a custom-made, genuine leather back sheath for carrying.
