Chives Bohemia is a perennial plant with pink decorative flowers, aromatic leaves and is used for seasoning. The smallest and most delicate member of the onion family, chives are a popular herb and can be cultivated both in the vegetable and flower gardens. They take up very little space, and the whole plant can be eaten from top to bottom. Chives Bohemia keeps its leaves in most winters but in an extremely cold season the leaves may die back completely, however don't despair, the roots are still alive and the plants will begin new growth in spring. Growing time from sowing to harvest is approx. 100 days and the harvest can be repeated.
