Phalaris canariensis, can grow to 6ft tall and have blade shaped flat leaves and flowers cluster from May-August. Panicum violaceum can grow to 36 inches and have light purple flowers with green narrow leaves. The colour lasts from early summer to mid-winter. Yellow Foxtail can grow to 4 ft tall with blade shaped leaves with a spiral twist and consist of hairs on one side of the leave. The flowers bloom from June-December which consist of a spikey flowerhead from yellow to red. Yellow bristle-grass can grow to 20cm in height and has stems from green to purple in colour. They have blade shaped leaves which can be 15 cm in length. For the best results sow in well drained soil and access to sunlight
