Spectacular Asian tree with low growth (up to 10 meters), very ornamental, especially when it develops those curious bluish cones on its branches. It is a species that is very resistant to frost, it grows in fairly fertile and deep soils where it prefers sunny spaces.
It is recommended to sow in a sheltered-warm-luminous place almost without burying the seeds in a substrate that drains well, but beforehand it would be ideal to stratify in cold conditions for two months to obtain better germination results. Germination is slow and can easily take 1-3 months.
