Good-sized tree, undemanding in terms of moisture and fast growth, ideal as an ornamental plant or to stabilize land, its leaves have a pleasant lemon scent, being very aromatic and medicinal.

Its cultivation does not usually have complications and the seeds can be stored in the refrigerator, thus being viable for several years. Germination can last from a few days to a few weeks, a mixture that drains well and is sandy should be used (also universal substrate with perlite). , the substrate should not be buried or compacted too much. The seedbed must be placed in the shade but with great light (ideally a greenhouse) with high humidity in the substrate but without being flooded, the crop must be in a warm climate (not less than 20ºC and little more than 30ºC maximum).
Ideally, transplant the 6-week-old trees into pots and let them grow for at least 1-2 years before planting them in full sun.
