Sowing Time: all year round. Use any humus rich, sandy soil, which shall be rather free of chalky soil for sowing. Do not cover seeds with soil. Keep in a partially shaded spot at some 15°C to max. 25°C. The optimal temperatures are 20°C at day and 15°C at night. Permantly high temperatures will inhibt germination! Always water from beneath. Keep at a minimum of some 10°C in winter and reduce watering to a minimum, unless grown under heated glass.
