Sow onto the surface of moist well-drained seed raising mixture. Start in doors in deep pots due to their root nature, 9 weeks prior to the last frost. Cover lightly with 2mm of mix. Light is needed for seed germination. 15-21 degrees C. is optimum temperature if using a heat mat.
Germination takes appox. 14-21 days.
Once germinated place in a well aired and lit area.
Harden off for 2 – 3 weeks after the last frost then transplant.
