Dwarf version of the standard Cape Gooseberry which reaches 90cm in height. Produces delicious, round, small, yellow-orange berries.
Delicious raw, also as part of fruit salad mixes or cooked for flans and tarts. Ripe fruit will keep in its skin for a few weeks if kept in a cool, dry place.
It is a vigorous, spreading plant with easy-to-grow, golden-orange fruit on the inside, easy to peel, papery skin. It's nice and delicious when dipped in melted chocolate.
This plant is related to Tomato and grows in the same place and way. The fruit is encased in a skin which disintegrates when ripe. This marble-sized fruit is delicious when eaten straight from the vine but also makes a great pie or can be used in jams, etc. This fruit is native to South America.
