A wonderful antique tablecloth made of hexagons of open work or cut work with whitework embroidery embedded in a field of filet lace. This is an exquisite tablecloth in near perfect condition. It is 48 inches square.
I said near perfect condition. Look at photos that include the ring. Those areas have slight damage where the fine stitches connecting lace to linen are broken. These could be mended or ignored. The other issue is a small stain, smaller than a dime, in the border lace. Looks like a drop of coffee or tea was ignored. There are also soil stains that show in the photos but they came out in the wash.
