This is a beautiful and rare Indian heirloom producing medium sized striped melons with greenish yellow flesh that has an unusual musky taste.
Plant in Spring and Summer and in tropical regions Au-Sp, soil temperature should be above 20 degrees C. Best sowing in clumps of 2-3 seeds, Sow 10-20mm deep, leaving 100cm between seedlings, will emerge in 6-10 days
Harvest once the melon has an aroma and the stem comes easily away from the fruit ~90 days.
