#LVGG 50 SEEDS Tagasaste AKA Tree Lucerne
For sale is 50 seeds of the hardy tagasaste tree. It grows to around 5 metres high, and around the same in diameter.
It grows well in a range of environments and once established handles climates ranging from those of the western wheat belt to those of the cool tablelands. Young plants can be frost-sensitive so if frost is a risk in your area it's best to plant in spring.
Tagasaste has a crude protein content of around 18 to 25 percent and is readily digestible to animals.
During drought conditions tagasaste draws water up from its deep roots and releases it from its surface roots to aid it in the uptake of nutrients.
The seeds need to be treated prior to planting. Instructions will be included with the seeds.
Due to quarantine restrictions, I cannot send to WA or Tasmania.
