Annual growing to 55cm. Plants with pale green stems that produce an abundance of orchid-like flowers in a variety of colours which may include; white, red, pink and violet. Long flowering variety. Good for garden beds and as a cut flower. Sometimes referred to as 'Poor Mans Orchid' or 'Butterfly Flower'.
How to sow and grow:
Method: Raise seedlings or sow direct
Sowing Depth: 3mm
When: Mid-spring, summer and autumn
Row Spacing:
Position: Part or full sun, moist well drained soil
Plant Spacing: 30cm
Hardiness: Frost tender
Plant Height: 55cm
Days to Maturity/flowering: 120 days
Care: Pinch out tips of young stems to promote bushier growth and more flowers.
