To grow good papayas you need a frost free climate, lots of sunlight, lots of water and very good soil.
Plant in small pots, use a sterile, soil-less potting mixture of equal parts sphagnum moss and perlite or vermiculite. Plants are usually about 50% female and 50% bi-sexual
Soak the seeds for 24-48 hours in water at room temperature.
After this process, sow the seeds 0.5 mm - 10mm deep into small pots with a high quality soil-less seed raising mix (or sow directly into a pot, indoors is best near a lighted window.
Keep seeds moist but not soaked until germination using a water spray bottle 2 - 4 times a day depending on temperature and your seed mix quality.
Most Papaya seeds will germinate in 4 -6 weeks,
