2pcs/20ml Optive Plus Eye Drops/Tired,Red and Dry Eyes,Soothes,Moisturizes
2pcs/20ml Optive Plus Eye Drops
Optive Plus is based on Optive with the addition of specially stabilized castor oil.
Optive Plus has three effects:
Lubrication and hydration (Carboxymethylcellulose + Glycerin)
Osmoprotection (L-carnitine + Erythritol)
Lipid Tear Film Reinforcement (Castor Oil)
Optive Plus quickly restores all three layers of tear film and provides comprehensive and long-lasting protection for dry eyes.
Significant differences between Optive Plus eye drops and other emulsion-based products
Optive Plus eye drops have an osmoprotective effect, which ensures rapid recovery of the aqueous and mucinous tear film layer and protects the cells from water loss for a long time.
Castor oil mimics natural tear lipids and is distributed in a very thin layer in the natural lipid layer of the tear film. Its amount is sufficient to stop the evaporation of water from the tear film and at the same time so little that it does not cause any side effects (blurred image, impaired vision for some time due to too much fat in the tear film, etc.)
Mechanism of distribution on the surface of the eye
All components of Optive Plus eye drops are stabilized with polysorbate-80 and form polymers that are "packaged" as if in small capsules with a lipophilic part on the inside and a hydrophilic part on the outside. When applied to the surface of the eye, natural tear salts seem to "open" the polymer capsules and all Optive Plus components are distributed through all three layers of the tear film: the neutral particles travel to the water-mucin layer and are absorbed into the cells as needed to protect them from water loss; glycerol and carboxymethylcellulose are distributed in the mucin layer of water and fix water molecules to the surface of the ocular epithelium ensuring long-term hydration; castor oil travels to the upper lipid layer and intervenes between the natural lipids of the tear film, thus strengthening the lipid layer so that water can no longer evaporate quickly from the tear film. The mechanism is unique. Only Optive Plus works on this principle.
Other information about Optive Plus eye drops:
The preservative is the same as Optive: a new generation preservative Purite
Opened Optive Plus can be used for 6 months.
Optive Plus is used to treat moderate to severe dry eye syndrome. Suitable for meibomy gland dysfunction
Optive scrotum for mild dry eye syndrome. Convenient to use for contact lens wearers, as it is possible to drip on contact lenses
The picture is for illustration only. The packaging can be changed by the manufacturer. All packs include English informational leaflet.
