Indications:
Fungal diseases of periungual folds and nails.

:
The medicinal product should not be used:

- in hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients;

- for allergic changes on the skin;

- for oozing changes;

- for acute inflammatory changes;

- if the skin around the nail is damaged (wound, skinless);

- in children under 18, due to the possibility of systemic, toxic effects of the medicinal product;

- on large skin surfaces;

- long-term;

- during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Side effects: Symptoms of skin irritation and hypersensitivity reactions may occur during use, such as redness, itching, burning at the application site. In the event of an increase in symptoms, discontinue use of the medicinal product.
Interactions:
Interactions with other topical medicinal products have not been studied.

Dosage:
Application to the periungual folds and nails.

The affected areas should be brushed 3 or 4 times a day.

Before applying Acifungin forte, the application site should be covered with a layer of a protective agent, e.g. zinc paste.

Shake before use.

Do not use in children.

Precautions:
Protect eyes and damaged skin from contact with the medicinal product.

If symptoms such as redness, irritation, itching or burning occur, the use of the medicinal product should be discontinued. Irritated places should be washed with soap and water and then smeared with a neutral ointment, e.g. petroleum jelly.

Driving: Effects on the ability to drive and use machines have not been established.
Overdose:
There are no clinical data on overdose of the medicinal product applied topically to intact skin in adults.

In the case of prolonged use of the medicinal product, application to a large area of ​​​​the skin or damaged skin, absorption and accumulation in the body of the substances that are part of the medicinal product may occur. Boric acid may cause symptoms such as: anorexia, weight loss, vomiting, diarrhea, anemia.

As a result of acute poisoning with boric acid (e.g. after accidental ingestion or after application of a medicinal product with boric acid to a large area of ​​damaged skin), systemic symptoms may occur, such as: diarrhoea, vomiting, abdominal pain, bloody stools, liver and kidney damage, renal failure peripheral circulation, rash, fever, collapse, convulsions and death.

Pregnancy:
Due to the lack of adequate studies, the medicinal product should not be used in pregnant or breast-feeding women.
