What is Hylo-COMOD®
Hylo-COMOD® is a sterile solution of sodium hyaluronate with a concentration of 1 mg / ml.
It also contains citrate, sorbitol and water.
What is needed Hylo-COMOD®
Hylo-COMOD® improves hydration of the eye with its dryness, caused by the negative influence of the surrounding environment, resulting in a disruption-type dry eye, foreign body sensation in the eye sore eyes as well as after surgery performed on the eye.
When should I use the Hylo-COMOD®
If your eyes itch, sting, quickly get tired, we feel as if the presence of sand under the eyelids, the cause may be insufficient hydration of the eye surface.
When stayed long in the air-conditioned rooms or intensive work in front of a computer screen, followed quickly interrupt the tear film. Meanwhile, in order to ensure the proper functioning of the eye, it is necessary the continuous moistening with tears.
As a result of surgery or eye injuries can be decreased secretion of tears. Properly running regeneration of surface structures of the eye, however, requires a constant, sufficient moistening them.
By using the Hylo-COMOD® cornea and conjunctiva of the eye is long-lasting moisturizing, long-lasting supplied with an appropriate amount of moisture, which means that the physiological healing process can proceed optimally.
Hylo-COMOD® comprises sodium hyaluronate, a natural physiological substance occurring both in the eye and in other parts of the human body. Sodium hyaluronate has specific physical properties to create a balanced, moisturizing, stable, hard washable and long-lasting film on the surface of the eye, protecting against irritation and dryness. These properties are particularly important for people who use contact lenses because the lenses are well tolerated only when swimming in sufficient quantity secreted tears. Hylo-COMOD® can be applied when using contact lenses.
Hylo-COMOD® A convenient wearing hard lenses and soft contact lenses, but do not form on these deposits and sediments.
