Abbott Heptral 500mg Ademetionine (20's)

For treatment of adults with:
• intrahepatic cholestasis in pre-cirrhotic and cirrhotic state
• intrahepatic cholestasis in pregnancy

Each tablets contains: Ademetionine (Sulfo-Adenosyl-L-Methionine), 1-4 butane disulfonate 949mg equivalent to 500mg ion.

How To Use Heptral 500mg Tablet
This medicine is for oral use only.
Swallow this medication as a whole with water.
Do not chew, crush or break it.
It is better to take this medication at a fixed time each day if it is indicated for everyday use.

Please consult a doctor especially before taking Heptral. If you have any of the following conditions & contraindications:-

Allergy to Heptral or any of its components
Hypersensitivity to Heptral or any of its components
At risk patients (eg: liver disease, anemia, pregnancy or those that may possibly have vitamin deficiencies from illnesses or specific eating habits like vegans)
Bipolar disease
Renal impairment
Elderly patients above 65 years old
Breastfeeding
