A fine and rare item for vintage aviation postcards, philately, postal history and KLM collectors. Original KLM Aerophoto b&w real photo postcard showing aerial view of south Amsterdam. Mailed from Amsterdam to Ankara Turkey on 16.12.1948, with three Dutch definitive stamps and an early Dutch airmail label, postmarked "Amsterdam Gent Station." The message is in Turkish, sending greetings and love from Holland. Mailed to a government official at Foreign Trade Secretary of the Trade Ministry in Ankara.
Real Photo postcard. Excellent definition, contrast and sharpness. Published by Aerophoto K.L.M. Schipol. Their logo is on the postcard. Photo printed in Netherlands. Reference No: 16911-417.
