André Claude Canova makes exciting scarves. Without exception his scarves merit framing. This one would display very well in a starkly modern room or in a bar.
This scarf was made for Grand Marnier and is signed both Canova and Grand Marnier. The AC Canova tag is also attached. It is made of 100% silk twill with hand rolled hem. The colors are quite accurate on screen and consist of reds and bricks and whites with cinnamon. The beautifully hand rolled hem is red. The design is sort of like zebra stripes almost camouflaging the shape of the Grand Marnier bottle. Very dramatic and effective.
The scarf is 34 inches square. It is in perfect, unused condition. Please email for additional pictures.
If you are not familiar with Canova, his factory, Soieries de Lyon, is in Lyon, France. He has his own printing facility capable of a 20 color process. Besides his own creations, he also does the printing for Chanel and Cartier currently and has done for Dior and other major designers in the past.
