Nice Antique Advertising Calendar that is dated for the year 1915. Thicker calendar board stock with an lithograph illustration of a brown horse in portrait.
Print is TITLED: BOBBY, W4, @BROWN & PIGELOW, ST. PAUL, MINN & SOO ONT. The picture is ARTIST SIGNED, BUT THE LAST PART OF NAME IS PARTLY ON THE EDGE. ROBT. LIND, or HIND ?.
Advertising calendar, Compliments of F.T. PORTER, General Merchandise, West Burke, VT. All months in calendar intact. VERY SUITABLE FOR FRAMING ENTIRE CALENDAR, OR JUST THE IMAGE OF THE HORSE.
Overall measures 7 inches wide by 11 inches high. The print image measures 5-1/8 inches wide by 6-3/4 inches high.
Cardboard: s flawed in some areas. Both upper & lower left hand corners missing ends. Both corners on right are both bent. The top calendar, January, is age toned and slightly dust soiling, corner missing, the balance of pages are clean and lighter.. Some spots on bottom middle edge. Tear on approx. middle right edge. Image: at very top near left edge corner on gray border was pushed out from back. Some minor *gold* on horse near the white mark on his body. Slight wear marks/scratches can ONLY view at angle. Otherwise displays well.
