This wonderful bar tray, snack tray, or food tray is a delight to look at, and the memories of the party’s that the Ohe family has had with this tray just jump out at you!
You see this tray has perfectly intact and wonderfully illustrated cartoon characters of “Chuck” & “Marg”. Below this are the words: “Have a drink with the Ohe’s”. Now I did some research on this family name, which I have learned is short for Von der Ohe. I have an email out to a family tree website to see if they respond. (If anyone knows an Ohe, please let me know!). So this tray is from happy times with the Ohe’s
Now the condition is absolutely pristine! The lacquered wood is still very shiny no stains, scratches, nicks, or cracks. Even the handles are still very lacquered. The underside is just as perfect. I imagine the ohe’s in the 40’s or 50’s had this done or was given as a gift and they simply hung it on the wall.
There is a small sticker (red and gold) in the upper corner that reads “Chrissy Japan”. The chrome corners are glistening!
This is an exceptional tray with a fascinating bonus of a family name and characters included!
