CARE AND MAINTENANCE :
The best place to store the Damascus steel is where it does not absorb moisture, as it should be lubricated (with coconut or mineral oil) and kept in this way to keep it rust-free for life. Should surface rust occur due to negligent care, it can be easily wiped off with a mixture of vinegar and lime and recoated with mineral or coconut oil (the best food safe lubricants for Damascus steel to date).
