2 vintage plastic buttons white 2 hole unusual 1 inch size hc2431

This is a lot of 2 identical plastic buttons. They are white and very plain style except for the inset holes. The size is 1 inch in diameter. The backs are flat. These buttons are in as new condition but are old probably from the 1940s. They are white, not cream. I should not have photographed them on red.
