This listing is for one hand embroidered hanky. I have two identical.
The hanky is worked in Madeira or Madeira style embroidery of white on white fine linen. The butterfly's detail comes from combining appenzel and Madeira. The branch of flowers incorporates fine applique and Madeira. There are also bits of thread work and a series of tiny flowers. The other three corners each have a little flower and two little dots. The hems are all hand rolled.
