They are ideal for hunters or workers subjected to occasional sharp sounds and provide two levels of hearing protection depending on how they are worn. The patented BattlePlugs use a unique filter built into the plug body to instantaneously reduce dangerous sudden impulse noises. When the plug is in the reusable earplugs have a noise reduction rating NRR of 24. When the inner plug is removed the BattlePlugs allow for easy communication and improved awareness while still maintaining a NRR of 9dB.
